1. District Administration Supervises all government departments operating within Dera Ghazi Khan district. Ensures implementation of Punjab Government policies, laws, and development programs. Coordinates between provincial authorities, district departments, and tehsil administrations.
2. Law & Order Works with Police, Rangers, and intelligence agencies to maintain peace. Oversees security planning for events, Muharram, elections, and VIP visits. Issues orders under Section 144 when necessary. Handles emergency response during crises (riots, protests, natural disasters).
3. Revenue and Land Administration Head of the Revenue Department in the district. Supervises: Assistant Commissioners Tehsildars Patwar Circle Handles matters of: Land records Mutation (Intiqal) Property ownership disputes Revenue collection Anti-encroachment operations

6. Public Service and Complaint Resolution Conducts open courts (Khuli Kachehri) to address public grievances. Handles complaints related to land, police, health, education, and municipal issues. Ensures fast resolution of citizen problems through all district departments.
7. Local Government Coordination Supervises Municipal Committees, Metropolitan Corporation wings, and Tehsil Administrations. Monitors sanitation, water supply, waste management, and civic services. Ensures implementation of local government laws.
8. Elections and Census Duties District Returning Officer (DRO) during elections. Ensures fair polling, staff training, and ballot security. Supervises census, surveys, and government statistical operations.
9. Price and Market Control Enforces government price lists for essential commodities. Conducts inspections for: Overcharging Hoarding Food quality Adulteration Ensures smooth supply of commodities in markets.
